REGISTER FOR EASTBOURNE FESTIVAL 2009 NOW!

In 2009 Eastbourne Festival will take place from 11 - 26 April. It will continue to give local artists and performers an opportunity to showcase their work, as well as aiming to attract the participation of regional, national and international artists, performers and entertainers in the long term.

Are you planning to organise an event?

Events organisers are invited to submit proposals of events for inclusion in the Festival brochure. This year Festival organisers are particularly interested in including events in the Festival brochure if they celebrate Eastbourne, make use of unusual locations, or actively support or highlight the work of artists and performers living or working in Eastbourne. We hope that you will register your event if you're doing something different, pushing boundaries, broadening horizons or building new partnerships and collaborations!

Events organisers can download Registration forms from www.eastbournefestival.co.uk. For full information click here.

COULD YOU SPONSOR EASTBOURNE FESTIVAL 2009?

Plans are now firmly in progress for Eastbourne Festival 2009!

The Eastbourne Festival Community Interest Company are seeking major funding towards next year’s Festival from national organisations, however it will also very much welcome involvement from local businesses.

Further sponsorship opportunities will be available for individually negotiated high profile packages including sponsorship of event banners, single named sponsorship of specific events and packages specially tailored to fit individual sponsor’s needs, such as the provision of services up to an agreed value.

If you would like to sponsor Eastbourne Festival, please telephone Julian Sutherland-Beatson on 01323 643727 to discuss.

PLANS FOR NEXT EASTBOURNE FESTIVAL 2009 ARE UNDER WAY!

EASTBOURNE FESTIVAL 2009 WILL TAKE PLACE FROM 11th - 26th APRIL 2009. A new Eastbourne Festival Community Interest Company has been formed to organize and promote an Eastbourne Festival for 2009 and future years. Plans are already under way to build upon the success of the 2008 Eastbourne Festival.

During March 2008 over 150 Festival events including music, dance, literature and artists Open Houses were held at venues across the town. Organisers were pleased and encouraged by the number of visitors supporting events and the huge enthusiasm for the Festival.

Organisers of Eastbourne Festival 2009 are committed to promoting excellence, diversity and imaginative interaction across artforms and will encourage the development of a broad programme of traditional, contemporary and experimental events for future Festivals.
